Description
Join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals providing high-quality respiratory care across a diverse patient population. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will deliver both routine and advanced respiratory therapy to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in a variety of clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Provide care in critical care environments, including the Intensive Care Units (ICUs), Emergency Department, and other high-acuity areas.
Respond to emergency situations and participate in rapid response and code teams.
Rotate through various departments within the Health System as needed to support patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule:
May include rotating day and night shifts.
Flexibility to work in any area of the Health System is required.
Salary Range: $65.08-$65.08 Hourly

Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or similar
Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or similar preferred
Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Licenses/Certifications:
RCP State License in the state of California
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) (American Heart Association only)
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS/ALS) preferred
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and carry 35 lbs.
Must be able to physically roll a 100 lb., horizontally positioned patient
Must be able to stand and/or walk 75% of the 12-hour workday
Must be able to sit, push, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods of time
Must have skill in performing routine pulmonary function test
Must have familiarity and knowledge of handling: Blood Gas Machines, Exercise Systems, and other types of equipment routinely found in pulmonary function laboratory
Must possess oral and written communication skills sufficient to communicate with colleagues, administrators, patients, visitors, staff, faculty, physicians, and on-site servicemen
