BenefisHealth System, in Great Falls, Montana, is seeking an outpatient Pediatrician to join our team practicing at our large regional health system.
Practice Details:
Opportunity to work in a beautiful Women's and Children's Center dedicated to full spectrum women's and children's care including general pediatrics, pediatric behavioral health, pediatric therapies (PT,OTand speech), obstetrics, gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, fertility services,laband x-ray.
Currentpediatric team at this main location has 4 pediatricians and 1 pediatric nurse practitioner, in addition to 1 pediatrician and 1 pediatric nurse practitioner working in a separate satellite clinic in our community.
The outpatient pediatric department also has an integrated psychologist and care coordinator to provide on-demand embedded behavioral health support to pediatric providers throughout the clinic day, in addition to two child/adolescent psychiatrists, a general psychologist, a neuropsychologist, and a care coordinator on the same floor in pediatric behavioral health.
Patient care spaces feature fun, family friendly waiting rooms and welcoming exam rooms with themes and art designed by local high school art students
Classes and programs offered include breast milk donation programs, childbirth classes, sibling classes, Meadowlark Initiative perinatal services, safe sleep forinfantsand more.
Schedule Details:
Outpatient clinic is open and staffed Monday - Friday from 8:00 - 5:00pm,full time providers typically work 4 days/week.
1:1 nursing ratio to provider on most days in addition to medical assistants and clinical nurse assistants
Call is 1:8 weeks taken from home averaging 0-4 after hour calls perweek(pediatric hospitalists cover urgent care, emergency department, hospital, and community calls)
Inpatient Unit Resources: Pediatrics/Labor and Delivery/NICU
Inpatient services are covered by a dedicated pediatric hospitalist team of 2 physicians and 2 pediatric nurse practitioners available 24/7 for newborn rounds,caresand pediatric admissions to our16 bedinpatient pediatric unit.
The Labor and Delivery unit has 19 labor and delivery rooms, 5high riskantepartum rooms, 2 operating rooms and a3 bedtriage area
Our level III NICU delivers 24+ weeks and is staffed with neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners, neonatalRNsand respiratory therapists
Dedicated Pediatric and NICU specific Mercy Flight transfer teams for regional transfers
