Phoenix Children’s is hiring full time Operating Room Nurses for the Arrowhead Hospital, located at 67th Avenue/Glendale! As a Circulating Operating Room nurse, you will provide nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age-appropriate care circulating in the operating room. You will work alongside some of the best surgeons, anesthesiologists, techs, and nurses in the valley. This position does require a minimum of 1 year circulating nurse experience (pediatric preferred), or Periop 101 training along with a passion to work in a state of the art community hospital surgery department. What is most unique about this role is the joy that you will have, providing family centered care to our pediatric population! This position works in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values and regulatory standards.
Education
Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)
Certifications
Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association prior to start date. (Required)
