Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems that ensure healthy, thriving lawns and landscapes. Your expertise will help optimize water efficiency and promote lush greenery across various properties. Duties
Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators when necessary
Conduct regular inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs or replacements
Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to ensure even coverage and optimal water distribution across landscaped areas
Perform routine irrigation and landscape maintenance tasks to support overall site health and appearance
Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate irrigation systems seamlessly into ongoing landscape projects
Maintain detailed records of system repairs, inspections, and modifications for future reference and reporting
Utilize horticultural knowledge to advise on plant watering needs and landscape health practices
Proven experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, or repair within landscaping or construction environments
Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, piping, valves, and sprinkler components
Familiarity with lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and general landscaping principles
Hands-on experience operating hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators in outdoor settings
Knowledge of horticulture fundamentals to support healthy plant growth through proper irrigation practices
Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics related to irrigation systems and landscape layouts
Prior work experience in construction or outdoor maintenance roles is highly desirable
