The Position

The position of Principal – Middle College and Career Innovation, under the direct supervision of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, serves as the site administrator and instructional leader of the Middle College; administers school-wide curriculum and all phases of the instructional program and management of the facility; administers and supervises schedule design to integrate high school academics, college coursework, and career technical education pathways. The principal supervises and evaluates assigned personnel; provides leadership, administrative, and supervisory skills for the educational development of students as well as to promote parent and community involvement; provides leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of both a middle college model that enables students to earn high school and college credit while meeting graduation requirements. In addition, fostering opportunities for students to participate in industry aligned career pathways, internships, and work-based learning experiences.

Required: 
- Valid California Administrative Services Credential
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful secondary teaching experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience at the secondary level
- Experience with Career Technical Education programs or dual enrollment programs is desirable
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
-Character, personality, and social capability to relate and communicate effectively with staff, students, and community
