The Texas Center for Learning Disorders (TCLD) is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral associate to engage in analyses of a variety of datasets, including cross-sectional and longitudinal behavioral, brain imaging, and educational data related to spoken and written language acquisition. The objective of this position is to assist with the administration of NIH grants while drawing upon—and further developing—a range of data?analytic skills for the purposes of manuscript and grant writing.

Job Requirements:
Ideal candidates will have a PhD in Developmental Psychology, Neuroscience, Measurement, Quantitative Methods, or a closely related field by the date of hire. Expertise in data science methods—including item response theory (IRT), structural equation modeling (SEM), longitudinal data modeling, and machine learning—is required.

The successful candidate will be expected to assist with the preparation of project reports and related documentation, manuscripts, and grant proposals. Candidates should have an interest in working in early childhood; be adaptable, flexible, and creative; and possess strong communication skills in English. Experience with linguistic analyses and knowledge of foreign language(s) are also desirable. Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree prior to starting the postdoctoral position.
