The Department of Animal & Range Sciences at New Mexico State University (NMSU) announces an opening for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Animal Science.
Position is a non-tenure-track, 9-month appointment with 100% teaching with opportunities for supplemental compensation for recruitment and retention efforts.
The successful candidates will be expected to: teach lecture and hands-on lab classes in animal science; help to direct the dual credit program in animal science; actively engage in scholarly activities related to instruction, including, but not limited to, participating in curriculum revision and enhancement, and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students.

A Ph.D. (awarded by date of hire) or other terminal degree and instructional experience in Animal Science is required.
