The Brain Health Registry (BHR) is seeking a Research Program Manager. The overall mission of the Brain Health Registry is to accelerate the development and implementation of improved diagnostic methods and treatments for Alzheimer's disease (AD) and other disorders impacting cognitive and functional impairment. The BHR is an online research study and registry for recruitment, screening, assessment, and longitudinal monitoring of participants for neuroscience research. Our goal is to perform highly impactful work in the field of cognitive aging, leading to development of successful treatments and diagnostics.
The Research Program Manager will manage the daily operations of multiple complex research projects with minimal supervision. S/he will achieve desired organizational goals of the Brain Health Registry (BHR) research study. S/he will also be experienced in project management and able to work independently to identify and solve problems, with the judgment of knowing when to escalate to management. S/he will be responsible for all aspects of human subjects' research and Institutional Review Board (IRB) policies.
Duties include monitoring and evaluating progress of research grants; understanding policies and procedures to identify issues and develop alternative solutions; management, planning and execution of project/program objectives and milestones ensuring projects stays within scope, budget and timelines; identifying research priorities; managing communication of project status and preparation of analytical reports for leadership and internal/external stakeholders; review and analyze trends to advise and develop recommendations to achieve or modify the goals of the program; and use of advanced operational concepts and objectives to resolve highly complex issues.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $154,600 (Annual Rate).
