Leroy Greene Academy, a Dependent Charter School within Natomas Unified School District, is seeking a Director of Student Affairs who, under the supervision of the principal, will develop, promote, and direct campus events to ensure a balanced educational and social environment for students and staff. This position handles day-to-day student discipline issues, facilities, events and athletics oversight. This position is responsible for advising the Associated Student Body, facilitating meetings for all student organizations, and providing guidance and assistance to staff or faculty advisors of student groups. This position also works with the peer mediation and peer tutoring programs to provide appropriate services to students in need.

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities could qualify someone for this position. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
-Equivalent to a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in education, education administration, social work, counseling, or a related field is desired.
-Five years of responsible teaching experience is required.
-Possession of an Administrative Credential issued by the State of California
