What We're Looking For

The part-time Administrative Associate provides front office and administrative support to the Undergraduate Programs Office in the Hankamer School of Business. The Administrative Associate is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all aspects of the office. The Administrative Associate is a vital member of the office, providing critical support to staff, faculty, students, and visitors. This is a 25-hour position.

A Highschool diploma and a and at least one year of relevant work experience is required. A Bachelors Degree and three years of relevant work experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

• Ability to work with internal and external constituents

• Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal, and collaborative

• Skilled in organization and coordination of complex projects

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to interpret and implement university policies and procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Microsoft Excel

• Ability to learn new software programs

Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.

What You Will Do

• Provide support for daily office activities

• Hire, train, and supervise student workers

• Serve as the troubleshooter for issues student workers cannot handle

• Assist with constituent inquiries and correspondence

• Promote professional environment with excellent customer service

• Maintain and update Office Master Documents

• Track and reconcile office expenses

• Provide administrative support for advising appointments

• Assist with preparing for recruitment events

• Ensure confidentiality and awareness

• Maintain communication with administration

• Manage office supply and equipment inventory

• Maintain professional interactions with staff, prospective students, families and visitors

• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission

• Ability to comply with University policies

• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
