Note: The location will be in Richmond, California. The Junior Field Representative works directly with the Health Education Supervisor 2 (HES2), to liaise between the Immunization Branch and Local Health Jurisdictions and public and private providers. They are responsible for assessing immunization coverage rates, and compliance with federal and state requirements of the VFC program, and promoting best practices for immunization services, including the proper use of the California Immunization Registry. They act as a liaison between the participating provider and the VFC Program, the Immunization Registries, and other staff, services and programs at the Immunization Branch.
The Junior Field Representative is responsible for assisting Health Education Supervisor with accomplishing the goals and objectives of the immunization branch including assessing compliance with federal and state requirements of the VFC program, assessing immunization coverage rates and promoting best practices for immunization services. They provides assistance to state and federal government agencies, public and private agencies/organizations, and other individuals and groups involved in immunization program activities.
