DescriptionAs a Lead Phlebotomist with the Santa Monica Hospital Laboratory, your duties include:
On a daily basis, assess overall workload for any area that needs help
Ensures work is performed properly and in a timely manner and all benches are covered by competent staff
Performs advance level pre-analytical and post-analytical activities and specimen processing duties
Troubleshoots specimen/test order problems, and Total Lab Automation line issues
Performs preventive maintenance of equipment
