What will you be doing in this role?

The Clinical Lab Scientist I is an entry level position that functions under the senior technical personnel. Responsibilities include performing technically complex serologic and molecular HLA testing and analyze the results. Operate, calibrate, and maintain test equipment. Monitor reagent supply inventory and perform quality control of new reagents. Perform processing of cells and sera. Maintain competency and proficiency in tests performed. Maintain a working knowledge of applicable federal and state policies.

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited university in Medical Technology or a biological science.
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license or limited license appropriate for the area of responsibility.
• New Graduates from CLS training, no experience in HLA testing is necessary.
• Limited CLS License in HLA with 2 years of experience preferred.
