Alzar is seeking an energetic Admission Representative to help execute admission efforts for the school. This is an early career position. The Admission Representative is primarily responsible for supporting admission staff in the execution and management of the inquiry, applicant, and enrollment process. The Admission Representative is part of a team that participates in a robust recruiting season (organizing logistics and completing various trips around the country), finds potential students, supports applicants through the process of applying to Alzar, and reviews applications to admit the best possible cohort for the upcoming programs. As part of this position, the representative has the opportunity to travel to multiple different regions of the country. This is a 10-month position, beginning August 1st and continuing through the end of May. There are opportunities to extend the position for multiple years for individuals who excel in the role.
For this position, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual with the following skills:
innovative, creative, and solutions-oriented
adaptable, able to take challenges in stride
ability to work independently and as part of a team
organized and outcomes-driven
strong communication skills, enjoys interacting with stakeholders (ie students, alumni, families)
ability to learn technology systems quickly, including computer and database systems
We are looking for an individual who is excited by the prospect of helping students connect to Alzar and communicate Alzar’s mission on social media. This is a salaried, full-time, year-round position. The Admission Representative will be expected to work from the Alzar School campus in Cascade, Idaho for a minimum of the first contracted year, when the school is in session here (during the time the school is in Patagonia, the Admissions Representative will largely be traveling for the recruiting season).
Duties and responsibilities

Maintain established contact and relationships with schools, through phone calls, emails, and site visits.
Research and reach out to new schools around the country to establish new relationships.

Maintain social media updates and collaborate on marketing campaigns.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and/or Executive Director.
Roles at school:
The Admissions Representative is part of a larger team that creates the culture of the programs we offer. As part of a boarding community, there are opportunities for the representative to interact with students in many different settings. Living on campus allows the representative to witness the programming firsthand and accurately communicate the experience to potential students and families.

30% setting up school visits.
30% traveling and presenting at schools and other venues.
20% facilitating the student application & enrollment process.
