ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides the comprehensive range of endodontic specialty procedures including complex endodontic restoration of teeth having suffered severe and rampantcaries, periodontal disease, and/or trauma to the oral cavity and supporting structures. Completes preliminary evaluations on new and established endodontic patients; reviews the patient's medical and dental history; examines the oral cavity, head & neck, and oropharynx of each patient for evidence of pathology. Performs diagnostic services using medical/dental histories, interpretation of dental radiographs, extra oral and intraoral examination, pulp vitality testing,physical examinations, and other medical or laboratory testing.
