The Division of Institutional Advancement at Tarleton State University, Stephenville, Texas is seeking applications for Director of Development Communications and Content Creation to start in the Fall 2024 semester.
The Director of Development Communications and Content Creation will execute a leading-edge, best-practice communications program for Tarleton State’s Office of Advancement that expresses appreciation, exhibits philanthropic impact, and exemplifies the role of philanthropy relative to student-success at Tarleton State in contemporary, compelling, and highly creative ways.
In this role, the Director will represent a clearinghouse for Advancement related to communications and marketing-based priorities, thus streamlining workflow and maximizing internal collaboration. The Director, in addition, will manage Advancement’s digital domains, including the Texan Excellence Fund (annual giving) website, social media platforms, and external communications strategy. It is expected that the Director will be highly creative, innovative, and able to create and execute projects, programs, and initiatives that successfully engage external audiences via contemporary, modern channels.
The Director will be an advanced communicator capable of successfully engaging myriad audiences and constituencies. The Director, in addition, will have first-hand experience with website design and management and, therefore, be able to effectively manage and modify modern web environments.
Requirements & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Ten years of related experience in communications
