Working with the LPPH Nurse Manager, the nurse supervisor provides oversight of the inpatient clinical care unit(s) supervises nursing staff involved in providing clinical patient care. Assists in ensuring the quality of inpatient care delivery at Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital (LPPH) and serves as a role model for professional nursing practice. Structures learning experiences to assure nursing staff maintain competency and have professional development opportunities. Assists with the administration and management of personnel, fiscal, and material resources. Guided by Lean principles, collaborates with others in developing admission and discharge standards May assume full responsibility for the unit in delegated areas and in the absence of the manager.Involved
