Under supervision, guided by policies and procedures of the Ambulatory Services, with the direction of the Medical Director, utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care for Dermatology patients. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required by patient need. Coordinates new and existing patient paperwork relevant to care to be given. The LVN triages patient phone calls and messages, directing assessment need calls to RN or MD.
