Description: Baylor University seeks a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Physical Chemistry.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have the ability and interest to teach undergraduate and graduate students, provide research mentorship to students in our doctoral programs, and develop and maintain an externally-funded program of research.
An established expertise in the general area of Physical Chemistry is required.
A Doctorate (Ph.D. or equivalent degree) in Chemistry by the time of appointment in August of 2025 is required.
Completion of postdoctoral studies in a Physical Chemistry or closely related disciplines is preferred.
Expertise in developing new theoretical methods and computational tools to address problems related to biophysical chemistry, drug development, or chemical reactivity/catalyis is preferred.
Appicants should have a sustained record of research and demonstrate the potential to generate extramural funding commensurate with their career stage.

A copy of a transcript showing the highest degree conferred (if the Ph.D. is in progress, a copy of a transcript listing completed Ph.D. hours should be submitted),
