Job description

To oversee the daily operations of CFLC's mental health programs, within the STRTP, requiring advanced assessment and intervention strategies. Supervise clinical staff; coordinate service delivery so that client needs, program goals, and contract objectives are effectively met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS MAY INCLUDE:

• Oversite and supervision of qualified mental health staff
• Provide individual, family, psychotherapeutic services as well as crisis intervention services to adolescents and children
• Assign cases to program staff and oversee service delivery to be performed according to State and County directives, contracts, and CFLC mission
• Provide In depth clinical assessments, diagnosis of clinical conditions, provide treatment plan and interventions
• Oversee that established program goals are met and service delivery is performed while upholding CFLC’s standard of care, policies, and procedures
• Provide clinical supervision as needed for licensure to register interns and trainees
• Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement process

SKILLS:

• Skill in organizing and prioritizing, especially in crisis situations
• Effective administrative, communication, and management practices
• Ability to perform psycho-social assessments including; relevant family and social history that may pertain to diagnosis and treatment
• Knowledge of methods, principles and techniques of social case work, psycho-therapeutic interventions
• Knowledge of community resources
• Understanding of cultural diversity and trauma informed care

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Active, current unrestricted CA license in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Social Work (LCSW), Psychology (Ph.D), PsyD, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), etc.
• Approved and licensed for two years in California to provide clinical supervision of Associate Clinicians
• Minimum of two years post Master's degree experience, preferably in a related program
• Experience in county contracted Medi-Cal requirements and documentation
