Baylor Scott and White Health, is seeking an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our team in Temple, TX. The candidate must have a DDS or DMD degree from an ADA-accredited college of dentistry and be BE/BC by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Candidates with international dental degrees with OMS specialty training from an ADA-accredited dental college also are eligible. The majority of patient care is provided in the dental clinic setting; however, the doctors also utilize the operating room for major surgical cases. The candidate would have immediate interaction with multiple surgical & medical disciplines as a member of the H&N cancer team and craniofacial team. Responsibilities include didactic/clinical teaching and supervision of rotating surgical residents and medical students and on call coverage. The practice allows the candidate to perform orthognathic, TMJ and reconstructive surgery, as well as providing extractions for a busy H&N cancer and transplant team.
The candidate needs to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to relate to people in all areas of the Baylor Scott & White Clinic and Hospital, including office staff, faculty and senior leadership.

Requirements:
- DDS/DMD degree or equivalent
- Eligible for licensure by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners
- Board Eligible/Board certified
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
