Responsibilities
Under direction of the Financial Operations Manager - Hospital Operations, the Project Policy Analyst 3 is responsible for (1) advancing specific project tasks to streamline financial operations (2) transactional human resource/labor and non-labor expense actions.
Transactional work is focused in PeopleAdmin, AggieService, AggieExpense and similar systems.
Projects are ad hoc with emphasis on shared use of technology resources impacting expenses, both deployed specifically for UC Davis Health (examples: Lawson, EPSi), UC Davis (examples: AggieExpense, Cognos, PeopleAdmin) and the University of California (example: UCPath). Projects will impact labor and non-labor expenses and entail coordination with other divisions in the Medical Center (example: Finance, Ambulatory Operations), School of Health and UC Davis main campus.
Scope of transactional and project work job functions is the division of the Chief Administrator - UC Davis Medical Center and Chief Operating Officer - UC Davis Health Hospital Division.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in applicable field, or equivalent experience/training
Experience with UC Davis Health administrative and clinical operations and policies
Experience with UC Davis information technology systems
Project management and workgroup facilitation
Demonstrated attention to detail
Ability to independently gather data and generate quantitative and qualitative analysis with specific recommendations
Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to tackle unfamiliar projects, assignments and tasks with a positive, 'can do' attitude
Special Requirements
