The Department of Family Medicine in the Keck School of Medicine at USC is seeking an administrative assistant to join the Street Medicine Divisionâs workforce development and education team. We are looking for a dynamic, organized, self-motivated individual. Duties include clerical and organizational support, including calendar scheduling, taking minutes and assisting with submissions for the team to remain in alignment with grant and contract obligations.
The Street Medicine program provides full-service primary care to the unsheltered homeless population. All care is delivered where patients reside including under bridges and on the streets of LA County. There is no fixed site clinic as clinical delivery is done via walking rounds with a pick-up truck and backpacks. With the vision that all unsheltered homeless in LA County have access to healthcare, the team is poised for a year of growth in the realm of clinical delivery, workforce development and education, research and advocacy.
Duties for this position may include:
Administrative Assistance
Assist Director of Workforce Development and Education arm (& other faculty/staff as assigned) with calendar. Champion assigned contracts and assist with preparation to vendors. Provides administrative support to Street Medicine Division and Workforce Development and Education arm (e.g., onboarding schedules, document and report drafts, PowerPoint, logistics and meetings for recruitment, coordinates evaluations) Support the day-to-day activities of and with the Director of Workforce Development and Education and other administrative staff. Assists with Street Medicine Workforce Development and Education contracts and grants compliance. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Workforce Development and Education.
Financial Transactions
Processes and logs Street Medicine Workforce Development and Education administrative staff transactions.
Special Programs
Provides back-up to Director of Workforce Development and Education for events, etc. Â

The hourly rate range for this position is $ 22.01 - $25.00.
