Position Purpose

Under general supervision, this position assists with program development strategies, develops solutions and/or recommendations, executes events, special projects, and plans, and organizes projects with follow-through to completion. The incumbent provides administrative support to the Director of Strategic Engagement by acting as a liaison between Director and colleges/stakeholders and assumes responsibility for coordinating complex scheduling, interacting with constituents, meeting preparation, communications and correspondence, events, customer service, compiling data and information, preparing reports, making travel arrangements, and other administrative duties.

This position plays a critical role in supporting activities to strategically advance institutional objectives that foster life-long relationships with the college, increase and diversify revenue through charitable giving, and demonstrate the impact of philanthropic support.

This is a full-time, overtime eligible project position on the Olympia Campus of The Evergreen State College. This project position is funded for two years from the start date and may be eligible for extension beyond two years if funding continues to be available.

Salary and Benefits: $3,057 – $4,055 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
