It’s an exciting time at Powder River Energy Corp. (PRECorp), a member-owned electric cooperative serving five counties located in northeast Wyoming. PRECorp is searching for a Manager of Human Resources to help lead and guide our coop into the future. The desired location would be in our Sundance office location.
This position is responsible for the administration of the Human Resources Department and provides leadership in all aspects of the development and implementation of PRECorp’s Human Resources, Training, Benefits, Employment, Safety, and other personnel-related matters for the organization consistent with the policies and strategies as approved by the board of directors and Chief Executive Officer.
To inform and advise management on labor-related regulatory matters that will allow the corporation to comply with federal and state laws. Maintenance of a personnel database and all other necessary Human Resource records that is, or may be required, by policy or regulations.
Create effective leadership and teambuilding for the HR Department that creates a close cooperative spirit with all departments to assure the best service to members with special emphasis on all internal customers.

Associate degree with emphasis in business administration or equivalent specialized training or experience in Human Resource Management plus a minimum of 5 years of experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent specialized training or demonstrated experience in Human Resource Management. Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience.
Minimum of three to five years experience in Personnel and Human Resource administration with exposure to employee benefits and personnel regulations and processes is a plus.
Minimum of three to five years of Leadership or Supervisory experience.
Ability to analyze complex benefit and compensation concepts. Knowledge of Employee Relations programs and processes.
Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, and manage a department.
Must be computer literate with emphasis in the use of Windows based word and Excel and data processing software.
Solid interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.
Must have a valid Wyoming driver’s license.
