The Payroll Compliance Analyst will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and improving certain internal controls surrounding payroll, timekeeping, and tax reporting compliance. These controls include auditing and analyzing data to proactively identify opportunities for compliance and efficiency improvements. Assist in ensuring the Kronos Time & Attendance application is properly set-up, maintained and tested. Provide assistance and support for the Director of Payroll Services. This position works closely with Human Resources and interacts with management from all Cook Children's operating companies.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Requires 10 years payroll processing experience with strong foundation of federal and state wage and hour laws.
Lawson Payroll system knowledge and Kronos Workforce Central knowledge is desired.
Ability to audit and analyze data to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
Ability to calculate and process Tax Levies, Garnishments, and Student Loans.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Strong customer service skills with ability to problem solve, make decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
Strong PC skills including proficiency in MS Office applications.
CPP or equivalent combination of payroll audit and process supervision experience at a minimum of 3 years.
