About Turlock Eyecare
Turlock Eyecare has provided a wealth of eye care services to generations of families and residents in the Central Valley. As the practice continues to bring advancements in vision and eye care, its core values remain the same as in 1950--personalized and honest care. The team of doctors take a patient centered approach to provide patients with a comfortable and informative eye care experience. The practice offers medical optometry and specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases, managing chronic conditions, and specialty contact lenses including soft, toric, hybrid, rigid gas permeable, and scleral. As the practice is expanding, the team is looking for an additional Associate Optometrist who is interested in exploring ocular specialties to offer additional services to patients.
Fully staffed with a cohesive group of highly-trained employees, the patient flow is efficient, enabling the Optometrists to focus on providing individualized care to ensure optimal eye health--each doctor has a dedicated pre-tester and scribe. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology, including autorefractors, anterior segment OCT, Clarus ultra-widefield retinal imaging, genetic testing, ICare tonometry, OCT, and visual field technology. Cloud-based technology is used to manage electronic health records and establish a baseline of patients' ocular health and monitors changes.
About the opening
Turlock Eyecare is seeking an Associate Optometrist who always strives to provide exceptional patient care to enrich the quality of patients' lives. You'll practice three to five days a week (no weekends) and provide comprehensive eye exams to all patients, including special populations such as geriatrics and pediatrics. You'll also care for a diverse patient base and perform an array of services: removal of foreign body and trauma management, glaucoma treatment, diabetic eye care, age-related macular degeneration management, LASIK Co-management, and patient education on clinical conditions. A candidate with excellent interpretation skills will be an asset to the practice.

Minimum qualifications include:
* CA Optometry License with TLG Certification * New graduates and residency-trained optometrists will be considered * Extensive medical optometry knowledge and skill * Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
