Central San, a progressive public utility, is seeking a Senior Administrative Technician that will be assigned the Secretary of the District division. This position will perform a wide variety of complex, confidential administrative duties which will include: compiling and distributing Board Committee agendas and materials; attending Board Committee meetings as assigned to take/produce minutes; operating and maintaining components of the District-wide Records Management Program; purchasing classifying, and cataloging new library acquisitions /renewal subscriptions; maintaining a variety of databases and intranet content; creating, editing, and proofing a variety of documents; explaining and interpreting District policies and procedures; scheduling meetings and various events; and providing back up coverage for the Assistant to the Secretary of the District and the Records Program Administrator.
Education and Experience:
Equivalent to the completion of twelfth (12th) grade. Completion of secretarial, office management or business course work is highly desirable.
Five (5) years of full-time experience providing administrative support and public contact duties.
Licenses and Certificates:
Possession of a valid California Driver’s License. A valid out of state driver’s license will be accepted during the application process. Must possess a valid California Driver’s License within 90 days of appointment.
