UW Medical Center – Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a REGISTERED NURSE to join our Childbirth Center (CBC).
SCHEDULE Part time, alternate work shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES As a Registered Nurse, you will support patients at all stages of the labor and delivery process, including antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care. The Registered Nurse will follow evidence-based nursing practices and collaborate with patients, their family, and other healthcare providers to provide a positive childbirth experience. The Registered Nurse will administer medications, including epidurals, and assist physicians or midwives with deliveries. The Registered Nurse will also help new mother-baby pairs with the baby's first breastfeeding.
