We currently have a position open for an Accountant/Finance Director. The Accountant/ Finance Director is responsible for the day to day fiscal operations and the fiscal management and oversight of the organization. Responsibilities include maintaining agency fiscal records; developing, monitoring, and analyzing agency budget, including cost allocation methodology; posting, balancing, and reconciling the general ledger and any subsidiary accounts; processing payroll; managing and monitoring all fiscal issues related to agency contracts and grants; and preparing monthly financial reports. Also includes some HR and facility responsibilities.

Master’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience. Five years of experience in nonprofit fiscal management. Familiarity with QuickBooks and Excel. Supervisory experience; experience working in multicultural settings . Ability to frequently remain in a stationary position, at a workstation. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
