Position Summary: In this role, you will provide direct professional services in the evaluation and treatment of clients in a both the inpatient residential and outpatient environment at a community mental health center. Function as the medical team representative on a multidisciplinary treatment team designed to offer comprehensive behavioral health services. Evaluate patients for substance use and medical disorders, determine the appropriate course of treatment for the patients. Primary focus of this position will be substance use and physical health as it relates to the inpatient setting. The ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team setting. Being able to maintain documentations and comply with county, state and federal laws, rules and regulations pertaining to health care.

Requirements: Advanced Practice Nursing degree (APN) degree or Physician Assistant (PA) from an accredited university. DEA Certification with Colorado license to practice along with buprenorphine waiver. Demonstrated commitment and experience working with persons from marginalized communities and other patient populations experiencing vulnerabilities. Understanding and commitment to Medication Assisted Treatment and harm reduction principles.
Preferred: Spanish language skills. Other language skills also beneficial. At least 2 years' experience treating/servicing persons with substance use and mental health needs. Strong understanding of substance use treatment and knowledge of withdrawal management processes.
