We are seeking a person with the leadership skills in all areas in the operation of adult education including:
Providing vision and leadership in all areas in the operation of adult education.
Developing partnerships with the community and other educational organizations for the benefit of adult education students and programs
Managing, directing, organizing, and coordinating all phases of the adult education program
Enforcing all state laws, board policies, and regulations relating to adult education and representing the District with other governmental jurisdictions at conferences on matters pertaining to adult education
Selecting, directing, supervising, and assessing administrators and teachers, as well as maintaining the general quality and quantity of classified staff assigned to the adult education office
Planning educational programs to meet the changing needs of the community, business and industry
Preparing the annual Adult School budget based on a sound fiscal program which will provide for the maximum support of worthwhile educational programs within the financial limitations of adult education
The District will determine which candidates are to be invited to the interview process.

Valid California Administrative Services Credential/Certificate of Eligibility
Served a minimum of 5 years as a classroom teacher or equivalent experience
Administrative experience, desirable
Additional Salary Information: Plus Masters, or Doctorate, and Longevity Stipends
