Job description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual who loves children and values the unique contributions of each child in our school community. Applicants should have a teaching credential; 3+ years teaching experience,; and hold a B.A./B.S. degree in early childhood education. An advanced degree in education or a similar field is highly preferable. Strong interpersonal skills, pedagogical expertise, a growth mindset, the ability to integrate into our school culture, a good sense of humor, and flexibility are essential.
This individual will work in collaboration with our current TK lead teacher in a co-teaching model sharing in all responsibilities. Additionally, this individual should possess strong math instructional skills as well as excellent skills in teaching literacy and writing. Emphasis will be placed on the ability to develop and implement a dynamic curriculum and differentiate to meet the varied needs of learners. The applicant should demonstrate a strong background in current best practices in education and effectively apply these to their teaching.
