![]() Life Science Research Professional 1 Stanford University The Beckman Center for Molecular and Genetic Medicine (CMGM) at the Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a Life Sciences Research Professional 1 (LSRP 1) for its Shared Fluorescence Activated Cell Sorting (FACS) Facility. The facility is a highly utilized flow cytometry service center that provides consistent, high-quality, state-of-the-art flow cytometric tools and applications to researchers throughout Stanford University and research institutions/companies in the region. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a wide variety of research applications and instrumentation. So, if you have proficiency in flow cytometry, or would like to learn these technologies working side-by-side with our experienced staff, we are looking for a hard-working person to join our team. Willingness to learn new techniques and troubleshoot technical problems is a requirement. The successful applicant will be trained on the cutting edge of flow cytometry research and will assist users in novel research using multicolor sorting and analysis. Duties include:
