Here is some of what you can expect from being a Patient Safety Screener (PSS) with us:
Operate a station designed to control access of individuals that present to facility access points
Screen individuals (using verbal screening and temperature check) to ensure the patient and staff environment is free of potential exposure to respiratory illnesses and infectious diseases
Provides guidance to patients and visitors on the appropriate pathways, following established protocols. The PSS may assist with directing patients, traffic, or monitoring in remote locations
Passionate about helping others
Reliable and Team- orientated
Excited to work in a fast-paced environment
Organized and can provide exceptional customer service
Able to read and speak English
Qualifications you will need for this role:
High school or GED
BLS certification through AHA preferred
One year experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
