CDT, Inc. (Comprehensive Drug Testing, Inc.), headquartered in Irvine, CA, manages drug-testing programs for several major professional sports organizations throughout the United States. We are actively seeking individuals for a unique opportunity as an Independent Contractor responsible for conducting professional sports drug testing collection and overseeing COVID-19 screening.
We hire throughout the state of California, but have particular needs in both the Bay Area and San Diego at this time for the 2021 sports seasons.
In this part-time position, you would be part of a team of professionals who perform a crucial step in the drug testing process - the collection of valid urine specimens. You would also play a valuable role in ensuring the health and safety of athletes by supervising COVID-19 testing. Please see below for additional details.
Requirements:
Male (required to be the same gender as players currently contracted)
Clear a background check
Organize a limited liability company (LLC) or other lawfully organized corporation
Active & valid driver's license and form of transportation to/from testing sites and mailing locations
Availability & flexible schedule to accommodate timing of sporting events
Able to walk around stadiums (to include steps), stand for periods of time and lift up to 25lb boxes
Excellent interpersonal skills, to include written & verbal English communication
Extensive experience in: law enforcement, school administration, military and/or healthcare
Responsibilities:
Interact with athletes while maintaining professional boundaries
Collect urine samples for drug testing in adherence to specific criteria & protocol
Submit samples to lab and paperwork to CDT following each collection while maintaining proper chain-of-custody of samples
Oversee the administration of COVID-19 screening
