The Radiology Patient Transporter moves patients and equipment from one place to another within a hospital or healthcare facility. As a patient transporter, your responsibilities include:
You will transport patients to and from all Radiology modalities using carts, wheelchairs, and beds.
Moving and lifting of patients is also a responsibility of the transporter.
When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Person must have good communication skills, a friendly disposition and flexible schedule.
Requirements for the Radiology Patient Transporter:
High School diploma or equivalent.
BLS certification through AHA or ARC required.
Prefer some hospital or clinical experience, but not required.
