Summary

Cook Children's Health Care System has initiated a national search for an Occupational Medicine physician to provide medical care for the employees and volunteers of Cook Children's Health Care System. This physician will be the clinician and medical director responsible for the provision of care provided within the occupational health department. This includes both occupational and non-occupational illness/injury, physical examinations, medical surveillance and medical expertise in the matters of the wellness program.

QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed physician (M.D. or D.O.) with experience in treatment of work related and non-work related injuries/illness, with some training in DWC guidelines for injury care. Candidates with three to five (3-5) years of experience in occupational and non-occupational health care preferred. 

Physician should be board certified or board eligible in Occupational Medicine and able to secure an unrestricted Texas Medical License before commencement of employment. Board certification in family medicine, internal medicine or emergency medicine may also be considered with significant occupational health experience.
