Your day.

As a Performance Improvement Specialist, you know that every day is different, which is why you need to know how to:

• Utilize process improvement methodology in order to improve key processes and outcomes identified.
• Analyze data through various tools to identify opportunities and improved performance as a result of process improvement work.
• Responsible for process analysis, design, and simulation. Adept at project scoping and effective spread techniques.
• Expert at determining the appropriate type of event for the scope and urgency of the project.
• Maintain detailed records of projects.
• Responsible for tracking progress of projects to ensure improvements are realized and sustained.
• Require high level understanding of organization’s business requirements.
• Focus is on process analysis and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Leverages process improvement methodologies to accomplish.
• Create process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and ensures communication of these changes to impacted business teams.
• Coach others on process improvement project methodology and tools in either Just-in-Time or requested classroom forums.

Seeking a candidate in the Billings or Butte area who will work remotely throughout the Montana Region. Periodic travel to various Montana SCL locations is required.

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Bachelor’s level degree is required.
• Master’s level degree is preferred.
• Completion of formal performance improvement training (Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, SPC, IHI improvement model) is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of prior health care performance improvement experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience in the application of and success with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or PDSA/IHI Model for Improvement is required.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent is preferred.
