The Regional Director, Leasing (West) will handle new and assigned renewal leases for the region or regions of the Portfolio assigned to you by the Senior Vice President of Leasing. He or she will cultivate new and maintain existing relationships with prospects, tenants and brokers as well as develop and execute creative leasing strategies at all properties within the region. This will include qualification of all potential tenants by reviewing business plans and financials as well as negotiation of LOIs and lease documents. Travel shall be required within the region as well as to our client’s headquarters, national tenant meetings, and regional/national ICSC functions. The Regional Director, Leasing will also assist with annual budgets for each property in the region.

In-depth knowledge of LOI and lease terminology
Existing database of retailers and retail brokers within the region.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
