This is a part time position, working approximatley 48 hours per pay period. It will be primarily located at The Medical Center of Aurora South Campus, providing on site support to Centennial Medical Plaza as needed.

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacist with us:

• You will be responsible for the safe, effective and cost-effective use of drugs through the application of specialized knowledge, skills, and professional judgment

• You will perform drug packaging, patient billing, and all aspects of drug compounding and distributions

• You will provide drug information and clinical service to all health professionals and patients

• You will monitor all aspects of drug therapy in the facility

• You will supervise pharmacy technicians and interns

Qualifications you will need for this role:

• Current licensure by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy as a registered Pharmacist

• BCLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within first 12 months of employment

• Must maintain current certifications

• BS or Pharm D in Pharmacy required

• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred

The Medical Center of Aurora, the first community hospital in the Denver Metro area to receive three-time Magnet designation for nursing excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), is a 346-bed acute care hospital located in Aurora, Colorado.
