Manager Sterile Processing

Summary:

Forecasts, coordinates, implements and supervises all medical/surgical supply and instrumentation services provided by the department. Provides administration support, coordinates special projects and completes evaluations as directed. Requires the ability to perform under stress in a high volume department.

Requirements:

• High school or equivalent or higher education
• National CS/SPD certification
• Completion of an approved central service technology course
• Certified Surgical Tech
• Medical supply/inventory control, distribution, patient charge and reconciliation experience
• Knowledgeable in reprocessing of surgical instruments and case cart system
• Good communication skills and effective interpersonal relationship skills
• Leadership skills
