Our Cath Lab has two cardiac suites, one interventional radiology suite, one EP suite and one hybrid suite shared with the OR.  We provide services for cardiology and vascular patients.  We make a difference!  In our work dynamic we see critically ill patients instantly transformed through our expertise.

Your day.

As an Invasive CV Tech / Cath Lab Tech you need to know how to: 

• Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures. Provide patient care under the supervision of the RN.
• Assist physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures, act as scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions during clinical procedures. Operate imaging equipment and work in the control room monitoring and documenting procedure images and events.
• Educate patients and families regarding the procedure and about the expectations of the procedure. Teach patient and family about pre and post procedure physical conditions.
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives. Identify potential areas for improvement including processes that could be streamlined or revised to improve patient satisfaction. Identify potential safety hazards that may create problems for patients and/or staff, and take appropriate actions.

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• Registered ARRT, required
• Montana Radiology license, required
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire (with prior approval), required
• Current ACLS certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire (with prior approval) required
• Associate's Degree, preferred
