Job Description:
The Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO) technology team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (BPM Implementation Specialist) to join their Business Process Automation and Analytics team in Westlake, TX. This role will be responsible for developing and delivering BPM solutions on multiple Business Process Management key initiatives on FFIO specific business process management flows using Olympus automation digital platform. Additionally, the person will be responsible for collaborating with key partners (e.g. business unit technology teams, Data architecture, analytics designers) in the implementation of workflows.

The Team

FFIO technology team crafts and maintains technology solutions and products that enable FFIO to provide accounting and investment management support services to Fidelity businesses and fund shareholders. As part of FFIO, Business Automation and Analytics team is responsible for providing thought-leadership in implementation of business process automation for managing the day, utilizing data science work for improving operational perfection, and delivering insights with multiple analytics capabilities.
FFIO delivery teams are organized as small, multi-functional squads delivering specific business & technology goals defined by the Tribes. The qualified candidate will collaborate with other members of the squad including Olympus product team in extending and modernizing the platform.

The Expertise You Have
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of technical experience in the financial services industry with strong background in implementation of BPMN solutions
  • Implementation and domain expertise in BPMN, Software Engineering and Solution Architecture
  • Experience liaising with business and technical teams to define and implement end to end BPM solutions
  • Programming background in one of Type Script (Angular), Java/Groovy and JavaScript
  • Experience in BPM and DMN tools (preferably Camunda/ Alfresco Activiti), Expression Language and Form.io
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and design leads to implement BPM solutions using Camunda
  • Provide technical leadership and specialist level mentorship to a team of BPM developers
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working on agile projects
  • Experience in business process improvement or business process re-engineering projects
  • Experience with financial services in an operations or technology role is a plus
  • Certifications in Cloud (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
