The AM Admissions team at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children (RMHC) at Presbyterian St Luke’s Medical Center is a highly trained group of professionals who specialize in pediatric Pre and Post-op patients in our state-of-the-art Recovery Room suites.  Our team works exclusively with infants, children and adolescents and understands their unique needs.

Here is some of what you can expect from being a PACU AM Admissions Registered Nurse with us:

• You will oversee and direct the care of the pre and post-surgical/procedural patient.
• You will serve as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• You will oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license. 
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.  BSN preferred.
• One (1) year experience in acute care is preferred.

Shift: Monday – Friday, rotating schedule – 4 weeks 6am – 4:30pm and 4 weeks 8am – 6:30pm.  Night/weekend call only when the call team is on vacation or leave.  Holidays call rotated by staff (1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday).

The Operating Room team at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children (RMHC) at Presbyterian St Luke’s Medical Center is a highly trained group of professionals who specialize in pediatric surgery – only pediatric surgery in our state-of-the-art Operating and Recovery Room suites.  Our team works exclusively with infants, children and adolescents and understands their unique needs.
