 University of California Irvine Postdoctoral Fellow Position in Imaging Instrumentation 2021- 2022 University of California Irvine School of Medicine Department of Radiological Sciences Postdoctoral Fellow in Imaging Instrumentation A Postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) to support our effort in Imaging instrumentation development. The TRUE lab invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow position in novel medical imaging development. The TRUE lab focuses on the development of XACT, PAT, EAT, and other radiation induced acoustic emission for radiological imaging and treatment monitoring. Our lab is affiliated with the Department of Radiological Sciences in the School of Medicine and the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering at UCI. Also the lab is part of Beckman Laser Institute and Medical Clinic and Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. Requirements: (Imaging instrumentation): Candidates with a recent Ph.D. or an equivalent degree who have a strong background X-rays or proton radiation, ultrasonics, FPGA, VHDL, and electronics are highly encouraged to apply. Researchers with experience in photoacoustic imaging, and electroporation will be given a priority. Your postdoc experience should be a crucial step that prepares you towards your future independent career, and we will make our best effort to pave your way, to be highly productive doing science, to offer you career advice, to give you various opportunities such as supervising students, getting involved in grant writing and teaching, and helping you build your own reputation in the scientific community.
