Summary

The Pharmacy Technician I position is an entry level role that will assist the Retail Pharmacists in providing professional pharmacy services to the patients and staff of Cook Children's Retail Pharmacy and the community we serve. Clerical tasks will encompass the process of recording, filing and reporting pharmacy activities and services. The technical tasks will be performed after experience is gained and necessary skills and competency demonstrated. All tasks will be performed under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.  

*** This position is not full time and will be scheduled to work 20 hours per week ***

Qualifications

  •  
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • Current PTCB Pharmacy Technician Certification is required
  • Current Texas State Board of Pharmacy Registration is required
