RN, Coordinator will be responsible for the blood product collection service This includes donor medical history, consenting, blood collection, donor counseling, and eligibility assessment This position will maintain a working knowledge of departmental standards and operating procedure. This knowledge includes the use of specialized instrumentation, quality control requirements, and preventive maintenance. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values. The employee shall support Saddleback Memorial Medical Center’s strategic plan and the goals and direction of the performance improvement plan.
**Should be able to work first and third Wednesdays from 1000 - 1830, and first and third Saturdays from 0830 - 1230 as needed**
2 to 3 years of experience as a Donor RN
Must have excellent IV skills Education
