Position Summary The Academic and Programmatic School Support will provide support to a variety of school operations and personnel. This position will work with the academic support team and academic leadership to fill in with any resource gaps.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to, the following) • Provide student lunch supervision • Perform temperature checks and/or health screenings • Support attendance tracking and recordkeeping • Communicate with faculty, students and parents regarding attendance concerns • Ensure students are acting in a respectful manner with one another • Ensure student compliance with safety policies/procedures • Monitor Study Hall and assist students with homework completion • Encourage students to reach out to teachers and peer tutors for help and guidance in specific subject areas • Proctor make-up testing for students and assist with exam retaking needs • Assist with coordination of make-up testing and track student test progress • Provide substitute teaching when needed • Provide co-curricular program support • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree is preferred • 1+ years of administrative experience in a primary school is preferred • 1+ years of teaching experience with middle to high school-aged students is preferred • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills with all community members (students to adults) • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Windows/Mac OS and MS Office/G Suite • Ability to work independently and as a flexible, productive team member
Hourly Pay Range: $14.00-16.50 Work Schedule: ~30 per week
