The Department of Civil Engineering at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA, invites applications for a full-time, fixed-term, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Lecturer-IR, commencing Fall 2021. The normal teaching load is the equivalent of four, three-credit lecture courses per semester, with lab sections counting as a ½ course each. The department, which is within the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS), offers an ABET-accredited undergraduate program in Civil Engineering and is committed to a rigorous curriculum, excellent facilities, small classes, attentive advising, and close and congenial contact with students. The ideal candidate should be someone who has a strong desire to develop construction management or construction engineering courses as a concentration within civil engineering.
